This mint condition 2001 Collings DS-1A shows no sign of play wear, even on the pickguard. It presents as a brand new guitar. It has a medium stiffness Adirondack Spruce top, Very nice Honduras Mahogany back, sides and neck, Waverly G-98 style tuners, Ebony headstock overlay, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a dark red turtle-did pickguard. All dimensions are standard for this model.The voice is strong fresh out of the box. It will only get stronger and richer with some more play time. The new owner will get to put all of the dents and scratches into the finish in the areas of his/her choice ! A wonderful guitar. With TKL hard case.
