This near mint condition 1998 natural finish Gibson Super 400 CES (92958011) was purchased new by the amateur jazz enthusiast owner and never taken out of the house. The only modification was the installation of a gold strap button for playing on a stool in his home studio. The wood choices, especially for the Sitka spruce top and flame figured maple carved back are especially nice. This guitar was regularly maintained every 2-3 years by the original owner’s guitar luthier. The setup is easy and designed for chord melody playing with an amplifier. This instrument is a professional level tool of the jazz trade. With the original hardshell Gibson case.
