This 1965 Martin OOO-28 (204682) is here on consignment from the original owner, who purchased it brand new at age 15. Medium grain Sitka Spruce top, Nicely figured Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Replacement bone nut, Original bridge reslotted for better compensated intonation. Neck reset and regret. One treble-side repaired side crack through the waist, two back cracks in the bass-side upper bout. The top braces were lightly scallope-voiced by Richard Johnston of Gryphon Stringed Instruments for a stronger midrange and bass. An extra endpin jack hole was made through the plastic butt wedge. The guitar plays well and has a strong, even response with fingers or pick. With the original Victoria hardshell case from the dealer located in Southern California.
