Although a fine arco instrument, I especially like this example for pizz

702 4/4 |
Flame figured German Maple back, sides, and neck,
Gold Rubner French style tuning machines, Long and graceful Italianate
scroll, Slim Paesold-like neck profile with a nice thick ebony fingerboard,
Medium grain German Spruce top, Lightly applied red-brown spirit varnish,
Ebony tailpiece, Maple bridge with adjusters, Full setup by Sacramento's
amazing Jeff Sahs. Dimensions are: Top length 45 1/4", Upper bout
width 20 3/4", Center bout width 15", Lower bout width 27",
Depth at tial 9", Depth at upper bout bend 8 7/8", Depth at
neck 7 1/2", String length 42 1/4". This bass has a full, lush
voice and an easy response. The rich, plummy jazz voice with Spirocore
weich strings is a delight. I've also tried it with a greater string
height and Bel Canto strings for a room-filling arco workout. I am very
impressed with such a great looking and sounding bass for far less than
the equivalent Paesold model. With free cover.

to have this bass in the shop again. Some small top and edge dings from
daily use. With original Eastman cover. Illness forces this consignment
sale.
